Job Summary:

As a Meat Cutter at HEB Grocery Stores, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and boning meat for display or as ordered by customers. You will also operate various equipment such as electric grinders, saws, knife sharpeners, tenderizers, and slicers. Additionally, you will weigh, wrap, and label product packages for counter display, rotate product in the meat cooler, and ensure proper storage practices. You will also assist customers with product questions and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cut, trim, and bone meat for display or as ordered by customers
  • Operate electric grinder, saw, knife sharpener, tenderizer, and slicer
  • Weigh, wrap, and label product packages for counter display
  • Rotate product in meat cooler and ensure proper storage practices
