Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the quality assurance department and staff. The successful candidate will develop, implement, and maintain a system of quality and reliability testing for our production and development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a quality plan to maintain our quality systems and quality procedures in compliance with ISO requirements and ASME pressure vessel code quality requirements.
  • Manage the quality control staff and maintain our quality inspection programs for incoming materials, in-process materials, and finished goods.
  • Administer RMA, RCCA, and CAPA processes.
  • Maintain and manage our document control system.
  • Ensure compliance with governing bodies, including ASME, ITAR, and NQ1A.
  • Conduct vendor assessments and manage ISO reviews.
  • Oversee and direct continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related engineering degree.
  • At least 5 years of combined manufacturing/quality engineering experience in a manufacturing/machine job shop environment.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience and/or understanding of Six Sigma and lean manufacturing.
  • Extensive knowledge of and expertise in ISO Quality System, ASME, and AWS welding requirements.
  • Proven experience with quality processes and audits.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of company personnel and customers.

Physical Requirements:

This position will primarily involve operating a computer at a desk in an office environment.
