Job Title: Rental Sales Representative Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Rental Sales Representative to join our team at Riggs CAT. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating revenue through the sale of equipment rentals in your assigned territory.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading equipment rental company, where you will have the chance to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

In this role, you will work independently, traveling throughout your assigned territory to meet with existing and potential clients, provide exceptional customer service, and negotiate sales contracts. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, reporting on sales activity, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your assigned territory
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business and referrals
  • Travel to client sites to discuss sales strategies, negotiate contracts, and provide exceptional customer service
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, including contact information, meeting notes, and follow-up actions
  • Report on sales performance and activity to management on a regular basis
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university (may be waived due to experience level)
  • 1-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the equipment rental industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Ability to travel extensively within your assigned territory, with occasional overnight stays
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time, exempt position with benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
