Job Summary

Bridgewell is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to provide healthcare services and direct care to individuals with disabilities in a residential program. This role involves providing advocacy and liaison with community health care providers, monitoring medical records, and medication administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct specialized nursing and other day-to-day care to individuals residing in the program.
  • Document health care services following state regulations, nursing standards, and Massachusetts LPN license requirements.
  • Function under the supervision of the residential manager, collaborating with the registered nurse and Director of Health Care.
  • Act as a liaison to other community agencies and treatment providers regarding regular medical needs and care.
Requirements
  1. Graduation from an accredited licensed practical nurse program.
  2. Current Massachusetts Nursing license.
  3. Two years of general nursing experience and/or service to individuals with developmental disabilities in a community health setting preferred.
