About the RoleThis is a full-time position at our Eldersburg, MD location. As a Nurse Practitioner, you'll be responsible for providing primary and family care to our patients, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems. You'll also be responsible for administrative duties, such as opening and closing the clinic, inventory management, and patient follow-up.
Responsibilities- Provide holistic, evidence-based care to patients, including education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex practices.
- Order and administer immunizations and injections, including COVID-19, influenza, and TB.
- Perform routine examinations and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
- Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness.
- Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
- Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
- Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.
