About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Echocardiographer Technologist to join our team at Parkland Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiography procedures, communicating effectively with patients and addressing their questions and concerns.
  • Recognize and analyze sonographic characteristics of normal and abnormal tissue, structures, and blood flow, adjusting scanning techniques to optimize image quality and spectral waveform.
  • Initiate additional scanning techniques or administer contrast agents as indicated by the examination.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Perform stress echo testing as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program.
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDS) eligible or registered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of cardiac/echo sonographer experience.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
