Sales Manager for Medical Device Tooling

Desktop Metal is seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to lead our medical device tooling efforts. This role will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing strategic relationships with key customers in the medical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a sales strategy tailored to the medical sector to enhance adoption of Desktop Metal's products and services.
• Build and manage a sales pipeline from inception to completion, operating within the Desktop Metal sales process.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting and sales calls with senior-level executives.
• Gather market insights and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and improve customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product management, to facilitate internal processes and support customer needs.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in B2B capital equipment sales with a proven track record of success in the medical industry.
• Strong sales and communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
• Experience with CRM systems and ability to manage sales pipelines and forecasts.
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated, with a willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
