About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Meat Cutter to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for driving sales in your area, delivering exceptional customer service, and working collaboratively with other associates to meet the member's expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a Team Player: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, and develop interpersonal skills for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations, and provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications.
  • Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement, and utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality.
  • Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure commitment to operational excellence, plan for profitability, and maintain a work area according to company policies and procedures.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: Be an advocate for the department and the club, value the member's experience in the meat area, and model high-quality service and products.

We offer a competitive hourly wage range of $18.00 to $25.00, with additional compensation in the form of premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. We also offer a range of benefits, including health, financial, and paid time off benefits, as well as opportunities for education and career growth.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 6 months' experience working in a fresh production department, be 18 years of age or older, and be able to successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period. Preferred qualifications include experience in the meat processing area.
