Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clerk to join our team at the Florida Department of the Lottery. As a Senior Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, sales, and marketing support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service to players in a courteous and professional manner, both in person and over the phone.
  • Serve as a sales and marketing support specialist, assisting with the sale of Lottery products and promotional activities.
  • Validate and process claims and pay prizes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform daily and weekly cash procedures, including reconciliation and documentation, deposits, and adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of Lottery merchandise items and record all transactions accordingly.
  • Participate in sales events, including set-up and break-down of promotional events.
  • Review and coordinate implementation of statutes, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales, or marketing.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license required.
