Toxic Tort Attorney

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Toxic Tort Attorney with at least two years of experience to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing litigation caseloads, conducting depositions for local and national accounts, and supporting our efforts in complex litigation related to toxic tort liability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle local and national accounts throughout the state of California.
- Independently manage a litigation caseload with a focus on toxic tort and asbestos-related cases.
- Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.
- Review and analyze discovery requests; prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings.
- Prepare court filings and manage e-filing processes.
- Provide trial preparation and support, ensuring all materials are in order for proceedings.
- Maintain accurate time records for all work performed.

Candidate Requirements:

- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in complex litigation, toxic tort liability, or environmental liability.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice in the state of California.
- Strong experience with motion practice and depositions, including taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions.
- Ability to work independently while managing a diverse caseload.
- Highly organized and efficient with strong time management skills.
- Superior research and writing capabilities.
- Able to analyze complex legal matters and provide clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
