Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Parker Hannifin Corporation Parker Aerospace Group. This role will be responsible for executing a variety of human resource functions to provide effective human resource services for our Lexington, KY location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an employee champion, change agent, and business partner for the location while providing HR services efficiently and effectively.
  • Propose and initiate specialized projects and implement programs requiring a solid understanding of human resources processes and their strategic impact on the business.
  • Support the location management team and production employees through successful delivery of human resource programs, including talent development, succession planning, performance management, strategy deployment, workforce planning, etc.
  • Manage all staffing activities, including talent acquisition and onboarding, while following division, corporate, and legal requirements.
  • Oversee performance management and career development activities for the manufacturing workforce.
  • Coach and advise managers regarding employee relations matters for optimal outcomes.
  • Act as a primary resource for employee concerns and questions.
  • Investigate issues as needed and recommend solutions to site leadership.
  • Co-lead Engagement Team efforts at the site to ensure team effectiveness and high participation rates.
  • Administer all relevant company policies, ensuring employees have a full understanding and receive training regularly.
  • Maintain employee data and HR systems with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide selective administrative support for the General Manager, including travel arrangements, expense report processing, and event planning.
Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and 1-2 years of related experience in a manufacturing setting, as well as 1-2 years of HR generalist experience. The ideal candidate will possess superior interpersonal skills and time management, as well as proficiency in all MS Office applications and PeopleSoft experience.
