Nemt Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nemt Driver to join our team at Coastal Ferry LLC. As a Nemt Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to their destinations while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive safely in various weather conditions and navigate through the city while adhering to a time schedule.
• Load and unload patients via wheelchair and stretcher, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the transportation process.
• Communicate compassionately and professionally with patients, facility staff, and other personnel.
• Coordinate efficiently with facility staff to ensure seamless patient handovers.
• Report any vehicle or equipment issues promptly and maintain the van and equipment in good working condition.
• Monitor and restock necessary supplies in the vehicle.
• Operate basic cell phone and iPad application functions, as well as utilize an iPad with routing software for efficient navigation and scheduling.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with routing software.
