About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Behavior Technician to join our team in delivering comprehensive support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for implementing behavior intervention programs, working one-on-one with clients, running social skills groups, and supporting our Life Skills program. Your expertise will help us make a positive impact on the lives of our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement personalized behavior intervention plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide direct support to clients with autism and other developmental disabilities, promoting independence, socialization, and skill-building.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and effective communication.
  • Lead social skills groups, focusing on teaching essential life skills, such as communication, problem-solving, and emotional regulation.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress, using data-driven approaches to inform service planning.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A strong background in behavior analysis, psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience working with clients with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to working with diverse populations.
  • Familiarity with behavior management techniques, including positive reinforcement and crisis intervention strategies.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
