Career Development Manager

At Goodwill Industries of Middle GA, we are seeking a highly skilled Career Development Manager to lead our vocational counseling services team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vocational rehabilitation, counseling, or a related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in career development or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of Career Development Specialists to ensure high-quality service delivery under various workforce development programs.
- Develop and implement program strategies and goals in collaboration with the Senior Vice President of Career Development.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' skills, interests, and barriers to employment.
- Guide clients through job search strategies, including resume development, interviewing techniques, and networking.
- Establish and maintain relationships with employers and community organizations to create opportunities and access to additional support services for clients.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of vocational programs, making adjustments as needed to improve outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in vocational counseling, career development, or a related field. Supervisory experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communications and collaboration skills.
- Alignment with and enthusiasm for Rev. Edgar Helm's faith-based social enterprise model to eliminate poverty one career at a time.
