Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist will perform a range of digital radiology examinations per request of the Medical Staff for use in clinical diagnosis, including patient screening and monitoring, patient therapy, and status.
Shall be sensitive to Cultural aspects of Native American Indians in providing health care as patients.
Shall independently perform digital radiology, C-ARM and Fluoroscopy services examinations.
The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist will be required to complete PIMC mandatory training monthly or as needed.
Perform other assignments as determined by the Radiology Department Supervisor or COR.
The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist services are for on-site coverage only.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform digital radiology examinations per request of the Medical Staff
- Be sensitive to Cultural aspects of Native American Indians in providing health care
- Independently perform digital radiology, C-ARM and Fluoroscopy services examinations
- Complete PIMC mandatory training monthly or as needed
- Perform other assignments as determined by the Radiology Department Supervisor or COR
Requirements:
- Academic degree from an accredited Radiology Educational Program
- Minimum one six (6) months experience in Diagnostic Radiologist Technologist (Digital Radiology) Licensure
- Current ARRT (The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiology
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
