With a diverse patient population, you will focus on admissions, discharges, acute and 30-day evaluations, and support the overall health and well-being of each resident.

About the Role

As a Medical Care Specialist, you will deliver comprehensive medical care to nursing home residents, ensuring treatment plans are patient-centered and individualized. You will conduct necessary procedures, such as patient admissions, discharges, acute evaluations, and routine 30-day health assessments. The average patient load is between 8-12 patients per day, allowing for focused and attentive care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Board Certification in Family Medicine, General Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • A compassionate approach to elderly care and a commitment to improving patient outcomes in a nursing home setting
