MEP Superintendent II

Austin Commercial is seeking a highly skilled MEP Superintendent to lead the installation of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, sheet metal, insulation, sprinkler systems, and life safety systems on our projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing overall direction and control of the installation process, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and meeting project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical guidance and support to MEP coordinators and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and company policies
- Coordinate with architects, owners, and city officials to resolve technical issues and ensure project progress
- Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality of work and identify potential issues
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders
- Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily job diaries and punch lists
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of commercial construction experience, including direct supervisory and MEP experience
- Successful completion of OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training
- Proficient with reading plans and specs
- Ability to build and manage high-performing teams
- Experience working with high-voltage electrical scopes on large construction projects
