SalaryThe hourly pay rate for this position is $29.24, with a K9 stipend provided. We also offer comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, retirement plans, employee assistance programs, and exclusive perks.
Job DescriptionThis role involves partnering with a trained Explosive Detection Canine (EDC) to conduct searches at assigned client sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for training the EDC daily, ensuring their safety and well-being, and adhering to regulatory protocols.
- Conduct searches with a trained EDC at corporate buildings, loading docks, delivery vehicles, open areas, and other situations as needed.
- Assist and liaise effectively with clients' security managers, law enforcement agencies, and local partners or their representatives.
To be eligible for this position, applicants must possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
- A minimum of two years' experience in one or more of the following: military service, law enforcement, or corrections.
- Possess adequate living environment for the proper exercise and training of the K9.
- Access to reliable transportation sufficient to transport the K9 safely.
