About This RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to lead and support our production department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising operations within our facility to achieve higher output, operating and maintaining equipment, managing production processes, and ensuring compliance with safety and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Excellence: Supervise production operations to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Equipment Management: Operate and maintain equipment and tooling to ensure optimal performance.
- Process Management: Manage all production and manufacturing processes, documenting changes and implementing new procedures as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure weldments meet specifications based on blueprints, from start to finish.
- Team Leadership: Organize training and educational materials for production team members, assist in recruitment and onboarding, and maintain open communication with senior executives.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety and professional standards within the facility.
- Experience and Skills: Proven knowledge of manufacturing tools and equipment, orbital welding process, solid mechanical skills, and ability to read and interpret written information and blueprints.
- Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create and adhere to production processes.
- Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with some technician coursework or AA technical degree/equivalent desirable.
