About the Role

At Intermountain Health, we are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in the Cardiology/Heart Failure Program at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO.

This is an exciting opportunity for a healthcare professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients with stage 3 and 4 heart failure. You will work closely with board-certified cardiologists to provide exceptional patient care, ensuring medication compliance, monitoring dietary and lifestyle changes, and regular follow-ups.

The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes continuity of patient care from hospital to clinic and back to the primary care physician or cardiology service line. Your responsibilities will include outpatient clinic consults and follow-ups, as well as inpatient rounding and consults.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited Physician assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Licensed as an NP or PA in the state of CO or able to obtain
  • DEA and full prescriptive authority in CO or able to obtain
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an NP or PA in a cardiology setting (PLEASE NO new grads)
  • Experience in a Heart Failure program, highly desired
