Job Title: Protection Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Protection Engineer to provide power system protection services, including system model development, short circuit analysis, relay settings development, area coordination studies, standards development, relay operation analysis, and technical reviews of drawings and relay settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain power system models for short circuit analysis and relay settings
  • Conduct area coordination studies and relay operation analysis
  • Develop and implement standards for power system protection
  • Provide technical reviews of drawings and relay settings
  • Mentor less experienced engineers in protection engineering
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in protection engineering
  • Experience with SEL relay settings and ASPEN OneLiner or PSSE CAPE
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
