About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Global Health Policy Advocate to join our team at World Vision. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the field of global health policy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and support for global health issues, including maternal and child health, family planning, and nutrition.
  • Develop and implement advocacy strategies to improve Congressional understanding and support for global health issues.
  • Represent World Vision in Congressional and Administration meetings, identifying priority offices and stakeholders to engage with on global health issues.
  • Collaborate with partner organizations around educational events, briefings, and meetings.
  • Initiate ideas for and develop policy documents, talking points, and policy priorities related to global health.
  • Organize and lead Congressional learning trips overseas to view maternal and child programs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (eight years) work experience.
  • Minimum of five years' work experience dealing with advocacy and policy issues, including interaction with the executive or legislative branches of the U.S. government.
  • Must have work experience producing briefing papers, congressional testimony, letters, and various media materials.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with external audiences, including the news media.
About the Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $100,000 and a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated hiring range is based on relevant qualifications and pay equity.
