Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity at Marty's Orchid House

Marty's Orchid House, a day program dedicated to supporting young children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and overlapping health conditions, is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced SLP to cover a maternity leave for the summer of 2025. This is an ideal opportunity for a school-based SLP interested in summer employment with flexible hours ranging from 3-5 days/week for 16-40 hours/week.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our multidisciplinary staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and assess children with ASD and overlapping health conditions to identify their communication needs
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address these needs
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care
Requirements:
  • Masters degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology
  • Active Kentucky Speech Language Pathologist license in good standing and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Pediatric experience preferred
