Interventional Radiology Technologist Position

Nurse First is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Iowa.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to work with our team in Waterloo, Iowa. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of medical imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy, angiography, and CT scans.
Responsibilities:- Perform medical imaging procedures using fluoroscopy, angiography, and CT scans
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and draping
- Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and CT scanners
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of imaging protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- 2+ years of experience in Interventional Radiology
- Strong knowledge of medical imaging procedures and protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
