Nurse Practitioner

As an Acute Care Registered Nurse with TotalMed Staffing, you'll deliver specialized nursing care in acute care settings. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, coordinating treatment plans, and providing education. You'll collaborate with the Acute Care Registered Nurse team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct nursing care to patients in acute care settings, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, administer medications, and assist with diagnostic tests and procedures as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques to promote recovery and prevent complications.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
Requirements
• Current RN license
• BLS (other certifications as required by facility)
• 2 years of recent Acute Care experience.
• Strong communication and adaptability skills.
