We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Leasing and Marketing Specialist to join our team at American Communities. As a key member of our leasing team, you will play a crucial role in showcasing our exceptional apartment homes to prospective residents and supporting our marketing initiatives.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leasing apartment homes to qualified prospects, processing administrative forms and leases accurately, and providing exceptional customer service. They will also maintain relationships with apartment locator services, local businesses, and ensure the professional appearance of our office, amenity areas, model apartments, and community.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Show and lease apartment homes to prospective residents, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all required administrative forms and leases.
  2. Maintain relationships with apartment locator services and local businesses, providing information materials as needed.
  3. Provide quality customer service, responding promptly to resident requests and complaints.
  4. Maintain the professional appearance of our office, amenity areas, model apartments, and community.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate or College degree preferred.
  • 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with ability to read and interpret documents, write reports, and use common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $16.00 per hour, which may increase based on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes opportunities for growth and development within our organization.
