About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Headlands Research in Wilmington, NC. As a key member of our clinical research site, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily schedule and patient management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage patient schedules and ensure timely confirmations
  • Coordinate with patients, physicians, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient trial delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for patient compliance and database updates
  • Provide exceptional communication and customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for patients
  • Work collaboratively with clinical staff to resolve queries and optimize data entry processes

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in office administration or related field preferred
  • Minimum three years of administrative/clerical experience required
  • Prior experience working with healthcare professionals strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
