Job Overview

GeekSI is seeking a skilled Manual Tester to join our team. As a Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in manual testing. They will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing system specifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and executing test cases to identify defects.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with our development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze system specifications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective test strategies
  • Execute test cases to identify defects
  • Document test results and defects
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings to report and suggest resolution to issues discovered during testing

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in manual testing
  • Strong background in software testing
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with JIRA and Azure Dev Ops
  • Experience with IBM Rational Functional Tester and IBM Performance Tester
