Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Systems Engineer to join our team at VDart. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Linux-based cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable and secure Linux-based cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate infrastructure tasks.
  • Provide operational support for Linux and virtualization environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 infrastructure availability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience with Linux and cloud infrastructure.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Bash.
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
  • Knowledge of network fundamentals, including routing and switching.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and vCloud Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL.
  • Experience with message brokers and stream processing.
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or higher.
