Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our client's rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations to determine functional limitations, strengths, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on the patients condition, goals, and needs.
  • Implement physical therapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the use of modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies to enhance recovery and prevent further injury.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay current with advancements in physical therapy and participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and professional environment for all patients.

Educational/Vocational Requirements:

  1. A valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility.
  2. A Master's degree in Physical Therapy; or
  3. A Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy;
  4. A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.
  5. The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.
