We are seeking a skilled Medical Examiner to join our team at MRG Exams. In this role, you will perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

As a Medical Examiner, you will review medical records electronically through a web portal and conduct in-person physical exams on each Veteran. You will then document your exam findings using the web portal.

This is not a position that involves making disability determinations. The United States Veterans Administration makes all such decisions. Instead, you will be responsible for performing Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Meet productivity requirements by completing exams on 3-5 Veterans per day

This is a part-time position working 2 days per week (Mon, Tues, Thurs) with 8 hour or 10 hour shifts available. It is an in-person position, requiring regular travel to clinical settings.

Requirements:
  • CURRENTLY hold a current, unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license
  • Able to analyze data and work independently
  • Proficient in computer use

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is around $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
