Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Eagle Pass, TX. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to inventory management, stockroom maintenance, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading merchandise from bins or shelves
  • Reading orders to ascertain catalog numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise
  • Packing and unpacking items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards
  • Storing items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas
  • Examining and inspecting stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors
  • Receiving and counting stock items, and recording data manually or on a computer
  • Stocking shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise
  • Marking stock items, using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment
  • Taking inventory or examining merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished
  • Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials
  • Attaching identification information to products, items, or containers
Requirements:
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
  • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing for long periods
  • Ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules
  • Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and legs
Working Conditions:

The principal duties of this position are performed in an indoor and outdoor environment, with high equipment noise and differing temperatures.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $10.50-$11.00 per hour, based on industry standards and location. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
