Job Overview
The Sales Team Leader will manage a high-performing team of B2B account managers exceeding sales targets while establishing long-term customer relationships. The ideal candidate will provide daily motivation, coaching, and support to the team, aiming to grow revenue and maximize wallet share from existing accounts. Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Manager will assist in defining the team's objectives, sales processes, and targets based on Inside Sales best practices.
- Recruit, develop, and retain a talented team of sales professionals.
- Develop documentation and training materials for Inside Sales processes and procedures, including new hire training, job aids, and tools (e.g., scripts, product information, and technology guides).
- Establish processes to maximize sales through phone calls, emails, webinars, and direct customer communication.
- Implement regular reporting against key success metrics to foster a culture of performance management.
- Manage operational metrics, performance measurements, and resource plans. Analyze sales activities and forecast data to set and track progress toward goals and objectives.
- Engage in product knowledge development for self and team, understanding the competitive landscape and industry trends.
- Maintain accurate and complete CRM data by running weekly quality checks.
- Cultivate a strong team environment with employees committed to the company's long-term success.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 8-10 years of sales or business development experience.
- 3+ years of managing B2B sales teams in a high-growth sales/account management environment.
- Proven ability to build and lead an Inside Sales team.
- Demonstrated experience building profitable client relationships.
- Proven track record of exceeding performance targets.
- Experience with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to commute daily to our corporate office in White, GA.
Salary Estimate: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
