Sales and Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Consultant to join our World Class Sales Team in Central Alabama. As a Sales and Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for promoting Sysco's products and services, building relationships with new and existing accounts, and driving profitable sales growth within your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities- Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth and special objectives within assigned territory.
- Seek and qualify prospects following company account stratification goals.
- Research customer business needs and develop a mix of products and services to meet those needs.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related discipline; or HSD/GED and 3 years of Restaurant Management, B2B, or outside sales experience.
- Proficiency in Spanish is required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and current automobile insurance with specified limits of liability.
- Ability to submit to pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check) and sign Sysco Protective Covenants Agreement.
We offer a competitive base salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, plus bonus and promotional incentive opportunities. Additionally, you will enjoy:
