We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital (WDH) in Dover, NH. As a Speech Pathologist in our acute care setting, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to evaluate and treat adults with complex dysphagia needs, as well as patients with aphasia and cognitive-communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communications, and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with nursing, hospitalists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists to provide comprehensive care.
  • Participate in daily team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in Speech/Language Therapy or Communication Disorders.
  • Minimum one year of experience as a Speech Pathologist in an acute care setting or supervised graduate school placement in acute care setting.
