Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Receptionist with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As a Part Time Veterinary Clinic Front Desk Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining the visual appeal of the hospital reception area, greeting clients, answering questions, triaging concerns, scheduling appointments, and processing payments.

This role requires strong organizational and multitasking skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

  • Maintain the hospital reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming to clients.
  • Greet clients and patients, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Triage client calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate party for resolution.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently, considering daily workflow and minimizing wait times.
  • Process payments, manage client records, and maintain accurate data entry.
  • Provide emotional support to clients during challenging situations, demonstrating empathy and understanding.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in veterinary reception or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency in software applications, and familiarity with medical terminology.
  • A self-starter with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
