Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, assessing and addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with patients and families to educate and empower them in their care, promoting self-management and independence.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Current professional RN license issued and/or recognized by the state Board of Nursing for the State of employment.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA.
  • Two (2) years' experience preferred in the area applied for, with in-depth knowledge of best practices in surgical care.
  • Adaptable to changing work schedules and patient needs, with strong critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and computerized systems.
