Family Support Specialist

Job Summary
The Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Care Coordinator. This role will work with diversion-level youth who display behavioral health needs and/or family turmoil. The ideal candidate will have experience in case management, adolescent growth and development, and family dynamics.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate the needs of youth while empowering parents to address behavioral health needs.
- Coordinate services and ensure engagement via a strength-based case management approach.
- Complete Child And Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) Assessments.
- Refer youth and/or their families to services and/or programs sponsored by the Court, community agencies, and/or other approved providers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Science or related field.
- Three years' experience with adolescents with co-occurring disorders, five years preferred.
- Valid Ohio driver's license and maintain valid automobile insurance with a clean driving record.
