Clinical Responsibilities


The Physician Assistant provides patient care, collaborating with medical teams to initiate requests and coordinate care. They perform physical examinations, obtain medical histories, and write orders for medications and lab tests. The PA also assists with preoperative evaluations, post-operative rounding, and coordinates care for patients with abnormal pathology results.



Administrative Duties


The Physician Assistant serves as a liaison between departments, facilitating responses to patient inquiries and coordinating care. They assist the Gynecology Section Chief with quality-of-care activities and perform administrative duties as assigned. The PA also initiates referrals to clinics and community agencies, coordinates scheduling, and tracks patient care.
