About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurodiagnostic Technician to join our team at Duke University Hospital. As a key member of our neurodiagnostic team, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex procedures to obtain data for use in the diagnosis of clinical disorders of the nervous system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform EEG and Evoked Potentials studies, as well as other neurodiagnostic procedures as needed.
  • Explain testing procedures to patients and families, using age-appropriate language.
  • Accurately take and document patient histories, and set up patients for studies.
  • Run studies, document results, and troubleshoot equipment and physiological artifacts.
  • Recognize and respond to evolving patient care needs, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in neurodiagnostic technology or a related field.
  • One to two years of experience in neurodiagnostic technology, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Competency in EEG and Evoked Potentials, and registry/certification in one modality of neurodiagnostic technology.
