Aircraft Technician II Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Technician II to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision.
  2. Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements.
  3. Ensure that all work accomplished meets quality standards and specifications.
  4. Properly identify and store customer property and equipment.
  5. Operate ground support equipment safely and efficiently.
  6. Coordinate aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.
  7. Provide training to less experienced technicians.
  8. Protect customer property.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Collect and dispose of waste fuel, oil, and other hazardous materials.
  2. Implement Lean/continuous improvement processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  3. Use Company-provided tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  4. Comply with safety rules and procedures.
  5. Use the material tracking system to create parts demand and track work orders.

Requirements:

  1. Working knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, and company policies and procedures.
