Orthotist Specialist

Responsibilities

- Assess patient needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare teams
- Design and fit custom-made orthoses to meet individual patient needs
- Work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in orthotics and rehabilitation

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., orthotics, prosthetics, or a related discipline)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a related role, preferably in a clinical setting
- Certified Orthotist certification from the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics, and Pedorthics (ABCOP)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
