Dialysis Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dialysis Technician to join our team at Aura Staffing Partners. As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dialysis equipment.

• Equipment Maintenance: Prepare and maintain dialysis equipment, including setting up, operating, and cleaning machines.
• Patient Monitoring: Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, checking vital signs and ensuring patient comfort.
• Medical Procedures: Administer local anesthetics and insert needles into patients' veins for dialysis access.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot dialysis machines and respond to alarms or malfunctions promptly.
• Patient Education: Educate patients on dialysis procedures and post-treatment care.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Infection Control: Follow all infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe treatment environment.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience as a Dialysis Technician preferred; however, on-the-job training is provided for the right candidate.
• Certification: Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise protocols. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
