**Job Title:** Therapeutic Family Reunification Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapeutic Family Reunification Specialist to join our team at Family Connections, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in social work or a related field and experience working with children and families, particularly those involved with the child welfare system and/or affected by trauma.

The successful candidate will possess excellent time management skills, organizational abilities, and outstanding human relations skills. They will be able to function autonomously and in a team environment, effectively solving problems and communicating information to appropriate staff members. A valid driver's license and safe driving record are also required for this position.

**Responsibilities:*

  • Provide therapeutic visitation services to families, promoting healthy attachment and nurturing parenting skills.
  • Develop and implement visitation plans with active familial involvement and regular updates.
  • Collaborate with DCP&P staff, other providers, and community resources to ensure comprehensive support for families.
  • Initiate and maintain ongoing communication with families, using culturally sensitive approaches and advocating for their needs as necessary.
  • Document contacts with families, case presentations, and electronic health records accurately and timely.

**Requirements:*

  • Masters degree in social work or a related field (e.g., counseling).
  • Valid professional license (LPC, LCSW, LAC, LSW, CSW).
  • Minimum one year of experience working with children and families, preferably in the child welfare system.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and human relations skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.

**Estimated Salary Range:** $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience. This estimate is derived from national averages for similar positions in the United States.
