DaVita Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Specialist to join our team of healthcare professionals in the outpatient dialysis center. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease.

The Dialysis Treatment Technician role offers an exciting opportunity to jumpstart your career in the healthcare industry. As a member of our cross-functional team, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

About the Role:
* Direct patient care: spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment.
* Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
* Build long-term relationships with patients, educating them on kidney dialysis-related topics and providing emotional support.
* Work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, with opportunities to learn and grow with our company.

Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Desire to enter the healthcare field and make a difference in the lives of patients
* Comfortable working around blood and needles
* Ability to work long hours (some shifts are 12+ hours) on your feet, so wear comfortable shoes
* Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed.
* Health care experience a plus, including BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
