Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Operating Rooms. Your primary responsibility will be to assist Anesthesia Providers and OR teams in preparing patients for surgery, maintaining equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to customer requests and provide timely assistance

Collaborate with OR teams to anticipate patient needs and maintain a safe and efficient operating environment

Troubleshoot and maintain Operating Room equipment to ensure optimal performance

Assist Anesthesia Providers and OR teams as needed, including preparing patients for surgery and providing anesthesia care

Clean, sterilize, and disinfect anesthesia equipment and supplies

Maintain anesthesia medications, supplies, and equipment according to established protocols

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent required

Graduate of an ASATT-approved Anesthesia Technician program preferred

2 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician or relevant area preferred

Anesthesia Technician certification preferred
