Job Summary

The Anesthesia Technician will assist the anesthesia care provider with acquiring, preparing and using equipment, supplies, and medications during the administration of anesthesia. This role requires a strong understanding of anesthesia procedures and equipment, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist anesthesia care providers with equipment preparation and setup
  • Monitor and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies
  • Participate in the requisitioning, storing and issuing of supplies and stocking
  • Document and maintain preventative maintenance and quality records
  • Provide support to anesthesia providers and perioperative team
Requirements
  • Successful completion of two-year approved American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT) program preferred
  • RMA/CMA or two years experience in an Anesthesia Tech or similar role required
  • Current CPR certification per American Heart Association guidelines
