We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Tax Advisor to join our team at PT&C Group LLC. As a key member of our professional services firm, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from small and medium-sized businesses to individuals.

Job Overview

This role requires a deep understanding of tax practices, theories, and policies, as well as excellent communication and relationship-building skills. You will be responsible for preparing complex individual and business tax returns, advising clients on tax-related matters, and identifying and resolving complex tax issues.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare complex individual and business tax returns, including C-corp, S-corp, partnerships, exempt, and fiduciary tax returns
  • Buid and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met
  • Advise clients on tax-related matters, including finance and business practices
  • Identify and research complex tax issues, providing innovative solutions and recommendations
  • Support senior staff with various projects and tasks, contributing to the growth and development of the team
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience preparing a variety of tax returns, preferably in a professional services firm
  • Thorough understanding of tax practices, theories, and policies, as well as accounting and finance principles
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
  • EA or CPA certification required (or actively working towards licensure)
