Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Cardiology Medical Surgical 5th Floor Healthcare Assistant to join our team at BSA Hospital in Amarillo, TX.

Responsibilities
  • Provide basic patient care under nursing supervision, including assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other activities of daily living.
  • Observe patients' progress to prepare and disseminate reports to Registered Nurses.
  • Collect and record patients' vital signs and specimens for lab tests.
  • Transport patients safely and provide housekeeping duties.
Requirements
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer into position.
  • High School (or GED equivalent) diploma preferred.
