Critical Care Surgeon Position in Washington State

We are seeking a Critical Care Surgeon to join our team at Tacoma General Hospital, a designated Level II trauma center in the South Puget Sound region. Our hospital is staffed by seasoned surgeons who are board-certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.
Job SummaryThis full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work with a high-volume rib fixation program, active robotics program for both elective and urgent cases, and a practice that is actively growing with support of key stakeholders. As a Critical Care Surgeon, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with complex emergency general surgery cases.

Responsibilities- Provide critical care services to patients in the intensive care unit (ICU)
- Perform surgical procedures, including emergency general surgery and trauma cases
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Dual board certification/eligibility in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care
- Experience in critical care medicine and surgical procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- A base salary range of $400,000 - $600,000 per year, depending on experience
